I had a bid in on that boat and the salesman called me ten minutes before the closing of the bids Monday and asking if I wanted to raise my bid because He had offers on his desk that were 5k higher than what I offered. He was not sure what bids other salesman had on there desks. Either He was being really nice or He was trying to pump the bids.

The guy with the gun actually got it through the normal process I think
Someone had a low bid on it, and got a counter offer from the bank. Once there's a counter and the original bidder turns it down someone else can buy it for that outside of the Monday bids. That's what happened with the gun.:sifone:
Sometimes boats randomly dissapear to be sold elsewhere, as that's happened to me too. I'd keep your eye out for it on eBay.....for how much is the queston.:lurk5:
Like I said guys, that 36 Apache would bring a lot more than 45K , even though we think the Market is soft , the boat's will sell for what they are worth,, maybe 10-15% off low market , but not 50cent's on the dollar ! Keep Dreaming Dreamer!!:sifone:

If they / the salesman did indeed sell the boat out the back door to a friend, I'll bet it shows up for sale looking a little different sometime in the near future ( i.e. all white and/or vinyl graphics, etc )...
Looks like they weren't smart enough to change the graphics or make it less distinguishable. It also appears they don't know much about apaches. Built by Mcmanus, weighs 8500lbs, 8' 6" Beam, will do 85mph easily, and low hours (must be stating that based on a rebuild and obviously got some bad info for the specs LOL).
I was looking up Scouts and came across this ad and literally laughed out loud. I sent the guy an email to see if he knows where the trailer went that was sitting under the boat when Tony M gave the boat back to the lender.
You guys need to be very careful dealing with National Liquidators.
A very good friend of mine, Antonio Melero, was bidding on that 36' Apache when it was listed. The salesman, Alex Craig, told him if he slipped him $1,000 under the table that he would see to it that Tony's offer would be the winning bid.
When Tony didn't get the boat, Alex denied ever getting the money. Tony went to Shane and the owner, Mr. Toney, and they both said they would look into it. Today Tony is STILL out his $1,000. They are all lying bull$hitters and crooks.
Don't take my word for it. Call Tony Melero direct and he will confirm what I've said here. (305) 450-5501. They've had ample time to do the right thing and they still refuse to step-up. Alex Craig is STILL working there too!!!
