Apache at Liquidators.......

I hope not too but at that price it's prime picking for a flipper. :(

As I said before, it f's up the value of the rest of the Apache's that aren't in foreclosure because people will use this blow-out price as a bench mark for all the other ones.

It's a sad reality of the market we're living in... Good deal for someone, bad deal for the rest of us.:leaving:

Don't think of it that way since Apaches are all on a case by case value. How many bravo 41's are out there compared to #6 restored 41's and why are the #6 boats the same length/age but twice the price. They are not a common production boat so there are not as many out there for sale to compare.

I too hope someone doesn't buy to flip it. I've had that happen to me on some others, and it sucks to see the great deals go to someone looking to flip, rather than someone that would get a chance to own a boat out of their reach normally.

Sometimes it doesn't work out too fast for them, such as the 01 TS the guy has been trying to sell for a while at 100K (with 600+ hours on the 500's).

Hey high bid wins...... The flippers put their money up too! The 01 TS TG guy is choking on his purchase at 100K but he has 18-20K in profit planned for that sale. If they have cash and someone is trying to finance then the bank will go with the cash offer first.

I'm aware of how an auction works.:sifone:

It's a "silent" one though, so you don't know if you won or not till it's over. Maybe some guys can just guarantee a winning bid, I can't.

Bid what it is worth to you. Then walk away happy. If you get it, you get it. If not, who cares. Lots of boats in the world!

Good luck!:sifone:

I know...just hate seeing some of these boats go for pennies on the dollar in this economy.. Like I said, good deal for some, bad for others.

I just hope the guy, his wife and young kid are ok... On the other hand, I've seen people buy boats with no intentions of ever making a payment, then when the bank calls they either have them pick it up, beat the hell out of it or strip it. At least this one stayed together. Did we ever find out if he was able to sell it before this happened?

This market just has me frustrated that's all! At least when National Marine hit the crapper the market was good.. We just got the 37' AT at our marina that was bought from national, he got a great deal.

Best I ever hit was 81.4 under perfect conditions, the boat would always do 76 and that was what I represented, the diff between 76-80 was all the little things , air, water, fuel, people, wind, and the desire to beat the chit out of the boat / not ! The boat is now in Amhurst Ohio and the owner is looking at a new home / boat might could be bought at this time ?

On boat trader Geico is selling their apache 42 for 90grand with fresh everything, 6's big power and trailer. Almost makes this deal look bad with the 525 and bravo's. Older boats are losing their value fast and it's only going to get worse. soon it will be like jap crotch rocket bikes that are worth more in parts than running.

Thanks for clarifying RCH, it's been a while I hope all is well!!

Hey, there must be something with us 36' Apache guys, we don't blow up our speed numbers like everyone else! :)

There isn't very many 41 bravo boats out there... 2 or 3 at the most and a couple of those maybe Comanche's...let me think for a little while

What's the deal with these guys, they don't return calls. :lurk5: My buddie has been calling on the boat for the past two days, he left a message with a guy named Ron then another woman but I don't have the name.

So who do you have to blow to get a call back or is it sold?:dupe:

Some of you guys are not thinking straight ,, there is no comparison and one can not compare a 41 with #6 or #3a's to a 36 with bravos ,, they are two complete diff boats , diff cost to operate and maintain , they both have a place at the dock and it works dollar for dollar one can not beat the value of an Apache power boat, that's a fact Jack wheather its a 36 or 41 or 47 or a 28 they are unique boats to themselve's ,, If you have never owned one you will never understand what its all about !!

that having been said , I predict that this one will sell around 70ish , because someone out there will see the value, while others just try to steal it and talk about how they missed it ! :seeya:
