Chicks, Chips & Boats

Why do the weekends go so fast????? :boxing_smiley: That ain't right.

We slept in Sunday morning. Yeah!!!! My daughter was up for the weekend so we were able to see the baby for a few hours. I forgot my camera. :( He is getting soooooooo big and smiles and smiles. Such a good baby. The kids were a little tired and hungover after spending Saturday at bachelor and bacherloette parties, but it was good to see all of them.

After our little visit we headed to the boat and had some friends help us put the trailer back under the boat. What a nervous wreck I was. That is not fun. Took about 1.5 hours but it took us a while to line the trailer up to the boat due to the angle of how we had to swing the trailer in with the towmotor due to other buildings and limited driveway space.

After the trailer was done we put both drives back on and went home, grabbed a bite to eat at 9:30 and then went to bed. Exhausted.

Today we should get the last engine hatch back on and fire up the motors to make sure they start ok. We replaced both cams this winter so Rob's a little nervous, but I'm sure they'll be fine.

We will most likely wait until Friday to put the boat on the lift as I'm out of town a few days this week and the weather just isn't going to be that good.

It was either that or not posting his baby pics till high school graduation:biggrinjester:

Not much. Spent part of the weekend in Milwaukee helping Erik move into his new digs. He started his new job with Chase last Monday. See ya got the boat home. Looks nice.

Yep either the drive is getting longer or I'm getting older. It seemed to take for ever but didn't have my copilot Lucky and with a new trailer ran 65mph the whole way:(

Good call. Don't need to see anymore towing mishaps in the news.
Did ya introduce it to stouty Wisconsin water yet?:sifone:
