Chicks, Chips & Boats

Oh I'd know that ugly mug anywhere! How is Josh??? Tell them about the Weiner Run on June 13th. Lakeside is sponsoring it. More details to follow. Might even go west vs east, we'll see.

Nope! Not Josh. It's Aaron. He's the one with the green duck boat that he brings to Kelleys. I'm pretty sure you've met him. Josh and Shana were with us this weekend too. We all headed to Kelleys late Saturday afternoon.

I've only met Aaron once. The pic is dark, I just assumed it was Josh.

Barb - I'm sure whatever you guys do with the Apache, it will look great. I loved the paint on your last boat and couldn't believe Rob did it himself!

How do you tell your kids it's time to move out? I have a friend that's 29 and still lives at home. I keep trying to tell her she needs to move out but because her parent's are pushing it, she really has no inclination to move.

Thanks Donzi! The Apache paint will be nothing like the Stinger paint...except that you'll notice it! :03:

I just told my son that when he returns from the Air Force Reserves in February, he has to move out by September. He'll be 21 and he's not going to live with us forever. You just say it.

Yes. That would be it.

I hope their ok!:(

Bet you and Tony are really fun too! Can't wait to have faces to go with the smiles you give.:26:

I told my girl she was expected to live with me till she graduated, or married.
No Judge Judy moments for us, thanks!!!!!
John about had a heart attack when I said that!!!!!!:rofl:

Honestly, when it comes to older boats, you will never, ever get your return on investment when you go to sell the boat when you restore them.

The only reason we did what we did with the Stinger is because Rob did all the work himself. He did the mold for the fairing. He did the molds on the side vents. He did all the paint work inside and out, and put in all the gauges himself. If he wasn't able to paint, we would have never had that scheme on the Stinger.

In the end, we sold the boat for almost $9000 more than what Rob bought the boat for 9 years previously. And we bought the Apache for much less than the original asking price.

All white? Not for me. One season only and that's it, and I hope it's not even one season.
B-o-r-i-n-g.........at least to me.

You know what the Stinger looked like. I'm sure we'll get some looks here and there when we're done with the Apache.:)

Just put a big decal on it for this year. Copy your avatar.
