212 gallons of 93 here but only run about 3 tanks a month and only for about 9 months. I'm not sure if I could afford to live where I could boat year round! LOL- but it sure would be nice! Come on Spring

63 here but going to the 40's again tonight and for the next 10+ days. CC's don't have much wind protection- when the water is cold going boating means you are going to be cold. Of course when I say you I mean me since the water never gets cold down there.

Any nice trailer parks near you? LOL!!

Barb - you're not kidding about the wedding! I just got my estimate from the florist today. It'll be somewhere 620 and 750 for flowers. This doesn't include any center pieces for the tables at the reception.


It just kills me though. I'm doing mainly wildflowers! My bouquet will be gerber daisies, tulips, buplorum and hypericum and they want $140 for it! Grrr!

Whoo hoo. I fixed my bathroom and reset the toilet. Hard work. Had to do demo of the old floor and fit in a new floor and match it all up. The old stuff was rotten from when the water connection to the tank leaked really slowly over years and nobody noticed. The floor was never wet cause it made it under the linoleum and wasn't on the surface.
Glad that is behind me.

Here is something different: today I am meeting with a couple guys from the board of directors for a non-profit center for people with developmental disabilities about joining the board. My Mom was once a member of that board. I am looking for volunteer board service as part of a requirment for a professional certification. Should be interesting.

You'll enjoy it if you get to interact with the clients.
I did that for 12 years as treasurer of a large agency and insisted on working hands on also.
75 clients 7 homes a farm and a hospital...non profit.

Nothing like calling bingo to a group where half of them had their d ck in their hand .

I found it very uplifting working there as a volunteer. Puts you in a place that the greater part of the population doesnt get or want to get.

Thanks. I am looking forward to it. I am the director of a non-profit during the day, so I have some things to bring to the table from the standpoint of strategy and tactics, but it is a different mission than my non-profit, and a different clientele. (And different town.) I am looking forward to it. We will see today if it is a good fit for them and me.
