Chicks, Chips & Boats

So I was sitting at the bar at the Moose Lodge last night, and my "buddy" who sued me last year (and lost) for getting drunk and falling off my golf cart and breaking his leg comes and sits beside me. He tells me he had know idea he was suing me for 500K, and all he told his lawyer he wanted was his medical bills paid. This guy is no brain surgeon, so I think he is at least telling a half truth. I explained how it really hurt when he did that, and that we could never be good friends again. I told him I didn't mind being at the same place, and even sitting at the bar together, but I would not be the best choice for that 3am come get me out of jail phone call. Do you guys think I handled this right, or should I have told him to go F him self?

I would have knocked his teeth out, probably not the right thing to do but thats how I role

This was the ladies thread, and I must apologize for that post.

Please resume regular non bar fight posts. :)

I'm not sure I would have been a good enough person to even talk to someone after they put me through all of that.

I've got to get going and clean this morning but I am not motivated. My realtor comes over a little before 2. I'm having an open house today at my condo. Somehow I don't think it's a good day for it. It's kind of rainy and cloudy.

I was thinking of doing something like that. I got an email from my realtor yesterday that my neighbor (who is caddy corner to me) isn't playing fair. In the past month (right after my condo went up for sale) she lowered hers to 74,950 (50 below mine) and then she just dropped it again this weekend to 73000. Grrr

JJ - have you ever heard of certain shampoos causing hair to knot more than others? My hair has been excessively knotty for the past year or so. When I got my hair cut Friday the lady said that she thought it might be my shampoo. And I did switch around a year ago to Dove because the last hair lady said that was better than Panteen. So I switched again to Redken and hopefully that takes care of the problem.

I have a showing and funeral service, sun /mon. My moms friend Betty Sabin. She and her husband started one of the first marinas in Point Place. She was also the first woman 'Ole Man Of The River' ( Ottawa River). They are people who are recognized for their contributions to the boating community.

Note: My pix on the personal boating disaster was her sons accident........:blush5:

Quite a weather change here today. Yesterday is was 90, today it's windy and raining with a high expected of only 80.

Pic is from yesterday.:sifone:

It isn't quite that bad! But I've felt like that after having the top down on the Jeep or being in the boat.

I think the girl who cut my hair Friday had fingers of iron. She gave me a good hair cut but when she was washing my hair she keep digging her fingers into my scalp and it hurt! Then she was brushing out my hair and I said ow! and she's like "oh you must have a sensitive head" and keeps on yanking! My scalp even hurt yesterday!

If anybody asks why you are moving, say it's that you are freaked out by the brutal killing in the condo caddy corner to yours.

Let me ask, Do you use a separate conditioner? Knotts are generally worse at the nape where the shorter hairs get caught with the length. Try this: 1/2 c. white vinegar in a large cup and fill the rest with warm water. After shampooing, rinse with mixture, leave on 1 min., rinse and condition. The vinegar is a pure acid (ingrediant that makes cond. a cond.). It will close the cuticle smoothing it out and making it look healthier..You may have a build-up, that makes the hair more clingy to each hair. If it's extreme, use a build-up remover, acid rinse, and follow it up with a clear color glaze. Agood remover is :1/2 c. baking soda W/ 1c. club soda. shampoo, rinse, add mix to hair 5 mins & rinse, condition. Keep in mind the new growth at the crown sometimes appears as breakage.

That sucks. I'm very attentive to my clients comfort. I always ask if the position of the chair is right, water temp and pressure of scrub is ok. My sister is also a hair dresser, and I HATE the way she does business. She works on 3 at a time. I give everyone their own time, their time is important.

My 1st question is ' what would you like today?' Hers is 'this is what were gonna do today'. Scary........:(
