I posted about it on the chips thread on OSO .. never seemed to fit on here with the other conversations.

I'd bet there are many who 1) don't go there any longer and 2) cannot access the bilge due to expired memberships.

There are no set conversations here darlin! It's all things and everything. Anybody don't like that, they can take a hike and start their own damn thread.

Sorry to hear about this. These situations are very dificult. You will get past it, and you did the right thing. The good news is there are many GOOD people looking for work right now. Time to move onward and upward!

You're right. We will get past it and there are lots of good people looking for work. We left a message with Job & Family Services on Monday telling them we have a job opening. No call back as of today! :boxing_smiley:

Barb that's a bummer, had he been with you long. I have friends that own an office cleaning company, it's sort of their after hour business unfortunately for them they seem to have so much trouble keeping good help that they have to do a lost of the cleaning themselves. Since the job market is soft you might wind up finding an extremely good replacement, Good luck

He had been with us 2.5 years. We honestly count our blessings as we have 6 other part time people and most of them have been with us for almost 2 years. We don't have a lot of turnaround, and we start out at $10 an hour, which for part time work is decent.

Thanks everyone for your support and well wishes. It just stinks that you try to help someone, and unless they want it, you really can't help a person.

Oh well, chalk this up to one of lifes lessons.

It's hard to explain, the forum is open to everyone, but the C&B thread on OSO had only a couple people just putting in a daily diary for lack of a better term, alot less posts but more personal.
