Chicks, Chips & Boats

Ok what's a dark and stormy. I am having a glass of wine while I scrub my bathroom floor trying to multi task, Ian will not be back till midnight so I am going to do a little cleaning. Since he is not working overtime, I made a choice between paying the cleaning lady or paying the dues at the yoga studio, so now I am limber with dishpan hands:) I hate beeing poor:(
 
I had a cleaning lady along time ago but I found myself cleaning the house before she came ... Didnt want her to think I was dirty :D
 
Oh and the son did get his permit. He and the ex spent the afternoon driving around in a cemetery ... the ex said "he had to go slow and I didnt have to worry about him killing anybody" :rofl:

Yes it is the end of summer, its the week befor school USED to start, but thats still what Donna posted so thats what I commented on .:p

You're cute. Driving with me is not an option. Hello. My name is Racegirl. and I have control issues. :D Actually tho ... we were talking about it tonight and I said it might be possible for him to drive with me in the car as long as we are in somebody elses car. Definitely not mine tho. We might see if one of the grandparents are willing to let him drive one of theirs ... if the weathers better tomorrow. I said we could try it .... maybe .....

I did the same teaching my daughter to drive. Same deal; figured she didn't have to worry about running over anybody that wasn't already dead. Rather a scenic drive, too. :eek:
 
Years of rid'n with me in the Pete gave my son a different perspective of stupid driving. He actually had a clue when he started driving. He loves driving, but I was glad when he chose college and finance over a driving career.

I grew up riding with my uncle in his semi's (definitely a different perspective up there) ... my dad and both my uncles used to race ... my grandfather drove a firetruck. When I was 18 and got pulled over for doing 85 in a 35, the deputy told me to tell my dad that the next time he pulled me over, that he was going to give my dad a ticket cuz he knew I couldnt help it. It was in my blood :sifone: The bad thing to all this is that my son has picked up the same gene. I hope that he is more like me ... smart :D My brother wrecked his first car 3 times in the first 3 months ... everything from parked cars to mail boxes (he lacked car control :rolleyes:) I've never wrecked ... just blew the motor in my first car :rofl:
