Warpath!

Unless my eyes deceived me (I am getting old) I saw Warpath making it's way through Nashville traffic about 5:45 this evening.

I think that was the Chief "Warpath" (Replica Race Boat) on it's way to the port to get shipped to the UK for the Poole race there. The race was about a month ago, and they won the race. There was only one other competitor in there class, though, that being Christian Toll in the "Dry Martini". At least they are still racing in true Offshore format!

The original "Warpath" is still in Miami, and has not been in the water in awhile. I spoke to the owner recently. He told me that the boat gets is ran every month to keep everything working, but he has not had it out recently.

I've heard, from an original Apache guy, that they are redoing it exactly, down to the smallest possible detail.

You are referring to the "Banner Boat" which is another restoration project.

Well, I think I'll blame old age and loss of memory for this error. :leaving:

So, what is the overall plan for Yellow Warpath?

I'm not exactly sure. I saw at the boat at Mark's, last winter. It is getting a full restoration, I can say that much.

I spoke with Mark recently in reference to another Apache and the yellow warpath came up and he said they were restoring it. That’s a long restoration can’t wait to see it done
