XR upper gear sets needed:
Took the top caps off to look over the gears.....little pieces missing from the faces of the teeth. Right in the middle, nothing missing along the edges of the teeth.
Anyone have a good source for 1.50 XR upper gears for OM167XXX drive (s). I need 2 sets.

Did you try the guys @ Max Machine Worx? They have been doing a lot with cryo treatment and these guys have been GREAT to work with.

No, I just opened them up to look at them today. Went ahead and tore them completely down. One set looked fine once we had it apart.....the other might be acceptable to some, but I'm not putting it back in MY drive.

Here is the link to their gear sets. Might be worth it give Jasin and Aaron a call. I took one of my uppers to them recently and they identified several issues that were on the verge of becoming major failures (this upper was not put together by them originally). They went through the upper for a VERY REASONABLE price, and later replaced a bad prop shaft bearing I found in a lower for a very reasonable price, too.
