The water was a mess at best. Thanks again to Dan for letting me run his old faithfull 42 Fountain. Beat me up bad but still was the first boat (slow group) to Beaver island.

More testing Sunday 7/19/09. We felt the boat had to much bow lift causing us to run excessive tab and negative trim to fly level. Also RPM was down around 5200/5300 at 102. We removed 2" spacers from the drives and went with 1/2" spacers. The boat ran level with neutral tab and drive. Ran her up to 104.1 at 5500/5600 into the wind and a 1-2ft chop. 4 guys, 160gallons of fuel. Still pulling very hard when we shut down from excessive water pressure. Will test again mid-week.

Did you come south past Port Sheldon towards Holland? Heard something good, but too late to walk down and see......

We're 1/4 mile from the lake......

It was after 4 pm, ran toward Muskegon. With the northeast breeze I'm sure you could hear us clear as a bell around Port Sheldon.

Hey Scott, they are 17 1/2 x 34p x 20 deg rake 6 blades. A bunch of prop for the old girl. Another reason for raising the X, trying to loosen things up. She really seemed to like it, but still need to test in bigger water. Hoping it doesn't get squirrelly

Hotrod2, Jeff, said you were heading out when he was coming in with his 50 Cary.......

Now there's a wake to jump....:ack2:

Yeah definatly allot of prop for any V bottom let alone a conventional 41 footer  Those are the kind of props that make no wake zones nearly impossible.
