When I bought my first boat at age 27, I couldn't find anyplace to give me insurance. I was getting the door slammed in my face everywhere. Called Bob...he talked to me for like 45 minutes...could not have been nicer...and set me up with a policy. He's got my business for as long as I own a boat.

Bob and I got to be friends when he insured my scarabs and has my insurance agent and good friend ever since no one knows offshore boats and insurance better than Bob

He somtimes is to blunt with the truth when people try to cheat the system with not stating correct horsepower or speed

I have seen some agents fudge the truth to get a boat bound and get there commision but as soon as there is a claim then the owner of the boat finds out he has a battle to get any claim paid. If there is no issues then no one is the wiser but if not totaly truthful on the application alot of trouble can be had the day any incident happens
