Our final piece install before we hit the water today. Ryan will be out with his stock boat, The Gratton boys will be out also and Will Smith is also coming out to try to run us down. If you are by the ramp in Sarasota about 3 stop by and say hello.

This is the plate that Will made us after Larry and Brock destroyed the last one in Orange Beach.

Yep, finalized everything today. So, you two need to make it, as does George and Angie..........


The SVL guys have certainly tried with the rules mods and 2012 competition clauses. Sure would be nice to see a dozen or so there..........


And a dozen outboard cats.......


And a couple dozen others......

Testing went well yesterday.

Brock and Blake brought out their P1 boat for some testing. The looked great. Those kids have "The Gratton" touch. Not only will they be great racers but they are great friends and great guys.

Steve K came by and checked the boat out and went out with Will Smith in Will's boat for a run.

Will was there lending all the support we needed. We had to call the testing session a little short due to a trim pump failure. Where the pump is located is under the engine and Larry has to go to work so Will has the boat and is in charge of getting ready.

I really cant say enough about Will Smith. He has helped us in any way we ask.

I dont have any pics of the boat running so here are some on the dock while Larry and Will try to fix the pump.

Someday the system, (Or a similar data logger), should be the equalizer for all spec class boats to have. But, that's a different discussion to have.


Wow, thanks. I haven't done a dunk test for two years, and I'm not about to chance breaking your boat the day before a big race. But, I'll look into everything and maybe a different time I'll take you up on that.
