What's Happening
The actual Poker Run Lake Michigan portion of WMO's Rock the Coast has been completed this afternoon. While we will have more updates, and other input on the Shields of Hope portion, and the Keith Holmes Memorial Run portion, we thought it would be a good idea to get a few pics up from the run today.
There were 50 boats who took part in the run, and as usual, they were impatient and left the docks early to get out on the water. Luckily, WMO was able to get the helicopter on the way a bit early, so impatience paid off. That is all except for those following the timeline and being busy getting fuel, etc.
I think it was more like 12:30 instead of 12:50......
The schedule:
12:50 PM The Chase Is On - Boats Head To Mona Lake
1:15 PM Stop 1 - Mona Lake Entrance - TnT Detailing LLC Boat, 2nd Poker Run Card Hand Out
1:45 PM Stop 2 - Saugatuck Checkpoint, 3rd Poker Run Card Hand Out
2:30 PM Stop 3 - Holland Checkpoint, 4th Poker Run Card Hand Out
3:00 PM Stop 4 - Port Sheldon Checkpoint, 5th Poker Run Card Hand Out
Thankfully, Scott and Angie invited me to ride on their boat again to try to get some good photos. With the water conditions and a beautiful day, (unlike the Muskegon run), we did get some we really like. Hope you enjoy, many more to follow as we get time.
