A 28 foot MANTA owned and driven by Michael Hoffmann from Hamburg Germany and throttled by Jeffrey Dean from Bradenton FL.

In 1996-2001

Well,,just to inform everybody ,,,Michael past about a week ago and his services will be in Punta Gorda on wed.the 26th of this month.

He was my driver and friend ,,,friend for many years and i still can't believe this happend,,,driver (one of the fearlessest and best ) in the DAREDEVIL Boat.
We had plans to kick some A$$ in KW this year and now this.

So may god watch out over all of us and keep him partying with his old friend jeff up there,,where they win all the races they atent.

I remember Michael and Jeff. They were a class act and so much fun. I remember talking to Jeff one day in Sarasota and asking him "what was the toughest part of offshore racing?" and without missing a beat he replied "passing the breathalyzer the day of the race." They loved to go out and kick azz in that boat and party all night. My kind of guys. They will be missed.
