Who gives a flying phuk about Tiger Woods?

sport definition sport (spôrt)

noun

1.any activity or experience that gives enjoyment or recreation; pastime; diversion
2.such an activity, esp. when competitive, requiring more or less vigorous bodily exertion and carried on, sometimes as a profession, according to some traditional form or set of rules, whether outdoors, as football, golf, etc., or indoors, as basketball, bowling, etc.

Obviously you don't play golf.

My perspective is as follows: I woke up this morning at 6 am and rode my mountain bike in the snow for over an hour...it was a decent workout. How many guys wake up early for their tee time and say "Honey, I'm going to go work out..."

Athlete= MMA fighter, basketball player, hockey player, football player, etc.

Gamer= Golfer, baseball player, curler, poker player.

The best use I've ever had for golf courses has been as collegiate cross country race courses...otherwise they are just a waste of space.

I definitely disagree w/ Tiger's approach on being a cheater and liar but he's a great athlete. The way his dad raised him and his work ethic , he could of dominated any sport he applied himself to.

I attempted to play golf once. Made it to the third hole and was like WTF is this about?? Phuk this I'll see you guys in the clubhouse. I can't think of ANYTHING more boring

I played 18 holes twice in my life a long time ago. Got a 128 the first time and a 110 the second. I would rather be out on the lake than on a golf course.

Golf is a sport with a social aspect that many others don't have. I have played since I was about 7. I worked at high end clubs in high school/college and have been as good as an 8 handicap. Today with boats, kids and other things to do I can't justify spending 1/4 of the weekend (daylight) out on the course. I could pick up a set of clubs tommorow and be a 12 handicap but free time is an issue.

In 1996, he weighed 158 and was 6'2".

Today, he weighs 182 and is in great physical condition.

Nonetheless... I don't think that it's accurate to project that he could dominate any sport that he applied himself to.

For example: Jockey, too big. NFL lineman, too small. Etc....

+1

I'm a "bogey golfer"- 1ish over per hole, good enough to have fun but more importantly good enough for the important people to invite me along. Ever since I picked up my first club, golf has helped my bottom line.

Golfing or boating???

Who wants to spend a great day chasing a little white ball when you can be spreading your carbon footprint?

This isn't Serious Putting.com :D
