Died at the Beverly Hilton this afternoon.

So many entertainers have managed to keep their monster on a leash. I mean, come on... Tina Turner will live to 90. Diana Ross partied back in the day...must have found a balance. Shame and a waste that Whitney could not.

It's like 1971 again with the artists dying early and addicted. Jackson, Winehouse, Houston...

She started the whole extended Star Spangled Banner , she later admitted a lot of it was prerecorded and she sang in sync with it.

too much money for anyone around her to say no to her. didnt help that she married another doper. great talent. shame it was wasted.

I was up finishing a beer last night and waiting for the fireplace to burn down. I googled a few performances. Her voice started getting really rough and her range extremely low 5 or 10 years ago. There is a video of her singing Thursday night at a party. Sounds like a low muted grumble.

Yeah, I was watching some of the tributes to her on different channels. Her voice went to heck. They were saying that she was bood, and people walked out, of some of her last concerts....

You know, having seen of the hate on the internet toward her, I'm glad that we didn't go too far with the innuendos. It made me sad to see how people called a dead woman really foul names. I'll feel kind of stupid for my heart attack comment if she drowned.
