What's the fastest you have gone in a boat?

Driving a vee: 92.9 in the Gladiator
Driving a cat: 102 in the Motion
Passenger vee: 110 in 42 Outerlimits
Passenger Cat: 142 in 40 Skater and 44 MTI
And Im only 20........:D:D

I ran 158 in the front right seat of the 46 skater Terrible going across the bay in Miami with Jonny T driving. 6500rpm on the limiters. He said if we put bigger props on we could go close to 170

Wildest ride: 107 mph in a 28' skater as a passenger, most seat of the pants ride I've been on!

110 mph driving a 42' OL with 1050's.

105 mph driving a 36' Skater (most mellow ride I've ever been on)

I don't really count my passenger rides as much as the driving rides. ;)

Were you driving? I would get out of my STV and my hands would often be shaking......Sure was fun.

LOL

Scariest ride in a boat ever? Easy answer. 125 in an original Roark Summeford race lay up STV River Rocket with w full mod S3000 clamped on the back. Sub 9 seconds to 100 and the thing just kept accelerating !

115 Driving a 42 Fountain
142 Riding a 42 Fountain race w/ 1075's

never ridden in cat....would sure love to

driving 69.4 on gps at 4600 with the 240 br searay and the 496 I built
riding 98 mph on 75 north with said boat behind me

I always enjoy Mr Warby's posts in these "how fast" threads. Hopefully he will show up ... :)
