What's the fastest you have gone in a boat?

Johnny T/ Tres and others would be fine demo Captain-Pilots for me at any speed.:sifone:

If you want to add what you'd like to do?????

Spend an entire test session with Teague and friends riding in them all.......:sifone: (Haven't figured out how to get a ride in Oberto with Steve David....)

Driving, a little over 140 in Alec's old boat, 43 Nortech Super cat Catastrophe.
Riding, about the same.
Most memorable ride. Off the coast of California with Ron Songrath in the twin 1000 powered 38 TG Running with the Devil. Big seas, big air, he llll of a ride. It went sort of like this for a couple hours.
Wave....1 1000, 2 1000, 3,1000, 4,1000, 5,1000, 6,1000......................... :)

Driving Cat 93 in a 28' profile with 300 egg beaters
Driving v 87 in a 37' AT with 720 Teagues
Riding Cat 140 in a 33' Eliminator with 1100's

coolest boat ride by far was this year at the Michigan city races. Running with the legend himself Bobby Saccenti in the 41' Chief/Saccenti. We were running 80 plus in 4-5' lake michigan sea's! The boat handled like a dream and landed like it was on a pillow!

21 Superboat - Drove and throttled - 75 with a single 2.4.
30 Chris Cat - Driver - 95 and could do it in just about any kind of water
24 Skater - Driver -114 with twin 2.4's - Does speed underwater count?
Warpath - Passenger - 90+ with Bobby S. on the sticks and Ben at the wheel

Fastest as a passenger (while taking video & texting): 192mph 46' Skater

I haven't driven/throttled any boat over 96mph

143 in a boat almost identical to this one. Looking for my pics.......

Sanger ski hydro?! Looks super bad. I've been itching to get a v-drive!

I've been over 100 in my buddy's 28 Skater and around 95 in the old Miami Boyz 28 Pantera. Driving - mid 70's in my own 28 Pantera.

That made for a hell ride :drool5:

Martin Sanborn and I were testing in Key West between races in '98. We went out and turned east into them. The wind was blowing so hard the water was covered with foam. I will be 100 years old and still not forget. I get excited just typing about it. We were running across them and saw a set coming we could not see over. We cut the tops off the big one and headed back in. The following day race day the wind had calmed. Thankfully.

Vee Hull: 80's @ Michigan City, in Caveman with Mikey. Ride was pretty smooth, for my 1st ride on the Great Lakes.

Cat: 165 MPH @ Lake Cumberland, during the Poker Run last Saturday, on Ron's 50 FT Skater, Flight Club. Have a pic of the GPS, albeit a bit out of focus :cuss: But, do have some kick a$$ video & photos, while running above 150 :ack2:
