They ran a ground on the way out to go fishing, got stuck, waited for the tide, which was going out. The pic was taken at low tide and when the water level finally came up they were out there 5-6 hours

Up the river from me is the Ghost Fleet of Mallows Bay.

There are 150+ of these 240-300 foot ships there; high tide less than 10 are above the water line. See stuck boaters all the time.

My county is 350 years old and 20 miles south of DC- TON of history stuff here. Anyone ever in MD/DC and want to go check it out let me know! I know my way around so we won't get stuck.
