Bouy is good for the following:

1. Hitting bouys with Bajas.
2. Obscure 80s rock and tv references.
3. Hooking your ass up, when you least expect it (ask Wallin).
4. Subtle and unexpected humor.
5. Making me feel like I'm letting my local liquor distributor down.
6. Reminding me that not everyone from Ohio is a braindamaged mouthbreather.

And he's from Rossford for God's sake. :D

Hey, I only kinda grew up there.
I'm original from Treasure Island Florida.

But I've had so many different addresses in my life...
Houses and apartments to me have been more like an extended stay hotel - only nobody makes your bed or washes the towels...:willy_nilly:

Too bad that part often goes above many peoples heads.
But when I run into someone that "Get's it", I know that is somebody that I need to party with, and it'll be a good time!

When ya coming back out this way?:):sifone:

Buoy, I grew up on TI, Paradise Island to be exact. When were you there?

I was born there in 1971.
300 Capri Blvd. My Dad kept his 16' outboard in a slip behind the apartment on one of the finger canals.
We moved shortly after I was born, but for some reason I still consider that home. I love that area.
It's still one of my favorite vaca destinations, and I'll probably wind up moving back before the end of my days.
My wife and I got married on the beach there out in front (back) of Caddy's Waterfront 6 years.
I have many stories of the area (CigDaze/Nick) has heard most of them, and hell, from last year I have stories that Nick and his wife Erin were involved in.
It included Caddy's, and a blonde beach bumm that crashed our party - or maybe I somehow invited her.
We had a great time.

Yeah, scary that we were neighbors, and never even met each other until we traded jokes and quips on a boat forum.
Probably for the better.
If we knew each other then, we would probably each have a felony on our records for some crazy idea one night after a couple beers.
I'm told felonies on a resume/job application are a bad thing.
I haven't been questioned too much about the misdemeanors...:sifone:

I grew up first in Yacht Club Estates, then moved to Paradise Island at age 8. Lived there until leaving for college in New Orleans. My father still lives near there and I keep the boat behind his house. We are in South Tampa but plan to buy on the water in Tampa soon.

I love going back to TI. In my youth, I was upset that it never seemed to grow, it was fairly stagnant. Now that development has taken over the beachfront, I'm missing how it used to be.
