What Have You Bought Recently?

personally just bought a refrigerator this weekend.....

Business wise. I have bought 3 machines in the last 12 months spending over $1MM. If you can buy equipment right now they are desperately trying to sell anything.

Thought it might be interesting to see what you guys have done recently to stimulate the economy. Beer, or gas for the boat doesn't count. :)

Tell us, show us what you've spent your change on.

I'll start... finally got a real printer. :willy_nilly:
This mofo uses 12 inks, including 4 different blacks for some serious quality.

gas

I haven't bought chit, you can stick a coal up my azz and it would turn into a diamond! On the other hand, I socked away an additional 4 months worth of savings. :)

Sorry guys, I'm sitting on the sidelines for now...

We bought a center console Pro-Line for my wife and her girlfriends to play around in. I have enjoyed it as well. Of course, the poor sap that purchased it new for 20K in 2004 and put 7 hours on it probably isn't as thrilled as were after paying 8K for it. ;) We also got my wife a new Honda Ruckus. She's having a good summer....I need a vacation!!:sifone::sifone:

Commercial printing/binding business. Bought a Wohlenberg 16 pocket Perfect Binding line, Ritecart wire-o machine, GBC punch and coil binding machines......does that tell you anything? :)

Yep. ;)

That's serious stuff. How big is your plant?

I'm not paying my taxes...

140 people, 65,000 sq ft, 3 shifts, 6 presses (40, 50, 56 in), full bindery (knives, folders, die-cutting, saddle-binding, as well as the newer purchases already mentioned). We do books/catalogs/magazine to packaging/distribution and specialty die-cuts and assembly.

Now if I could just keep every machine running all the time we'd be in good shape.

Apparently I just bought a 21' Polar center console today. It should look good sitting next to the other 2 project boats and 3 jet skis that are collecting mouse chit in the barn. Anyone have a 150 to 200hp eggbeater laying around that they want to sell?

I just bent the Crankshaft in My HD Road king so I will be spreading myself thinner trying to build a new 124" motor for that. Plus my dad is keeping the marine parts industry slightly afloat buying new parts for our new hull we are rigging. So much for building power for my Fountain

here is the new hull, just picked it up last month. But it has been paid for , for a while.
