West Michigan Offshore Labor Day 2015 Fun Run

The day did not start off as planned, or as the weather forecast had said.

Some big thunderstorms rolled through Holland and South. Fog was dense in Grand Haven and North. And they had modified the forecast to have rain and thunderstorms through 2 or 3 in the afternoon around Holland, and later to the south. It wasn't looking too good for the last planned event of the inaugural season West Michigan Offshore last boating event of the summer.

However, a few weather related pitfalls were no match for Chris and his trusty cell phone. After watching the weather, and postponing the start an hour, it was decided to run north to Grand Haven, then back to Port Sheldon for a raft-up. Instead of the planned run south to Saugatuck and South Haven.

So it was time to head out the channel to the big lake....

Which made it time for Pete B of Shoot 2 Thrill Pix to shoot some action boat shots.
