Went For A Boat Ride Today

that idle zone is a big pain for a boat like Bad Moon Risin...
Bob brought her on a recent FMO run. We didn't see much of her after the start... until we pulled into useppa for lunch.

Had a fantastic weekend with Alec and Nick and Erin...
always a good time with them and the weather really warmed up today.

Looks like some kinda fun. I went for a nice ride in the sunshine today too pal. Only one motor and tracked instead of propped but sure was a beauty day.

Today we got buzzed by one of the FT Myers Offshore guys in his 84 Cig Flat Deck and talked with Terry Sobo for a few minutes after some tooling around.

There was a fair amount of traffic on the water today. and warm.

No we were in the Miserable Mile.
We had a real great day.

Going out again now.
Great weather here today.

You never know who you'll run into. Thought I could sneek back into town after running back from Islamorada. Jay, I like the pic of the 390 next to the 38 Fountain.

Anyway I see I need to clarify to the "non-locals" where the miserable mile is actually located.
It is not the slow zone going past Shell Point.
The real Miserable Mile is the narrow channel that starts at the ICW at the end of Pine Island Sound and runs west past Picnic Island.

I was corrected on this years ago so I feel it's my given right to correct others. :sifone:
