Customer came down to Alabama today to pick up a new Formula cruiser.Since it was overwidth and slightly over height,he did the wise thing and permitted it. But weird thing,he can haul today in AL,KY and IN but cant run in TN till Sat because of Good Friday,so he has to spend the night at the AL/TN line. What's the reasoning behind that?Plus the permit sent him thru a residential area and into Bham, rather than due north from Jasper. The route they gave him would have left the radar arch in a tree limb.He decided to take a chance and go the way we always go,but is not going to risk going thru TN today. Seems to make no sense. What does Good Friday have to do with trucking?
