We Lost a Founder and Friend, Tim "Buoy" Scovern Has Passed Away

Yep, it's a tough one. He's the best friend I have that I've never met face to face. Plans we had of things to do as he improved was always one of the things we talked about every call.

One of Tim's favorite quotes:

"When I was 5 years old, my mother always told me that happiness was the key to life. When I went to school, they asked me what I wanted to be when I grew up. I wrote down 'happy'. They told me I didn't understand the assignment, and I told them they didn't understand life."

-John Lennon

Love that quote. It will probably go on my wall next to Swindoll's "Attitude".

Buoy stayed up late and got the very first picture to load on SOS.

:)

Who knows the story on the snapping turtle in Kentucky? I can't find it from Tim anywhere, even though he mentioned it often......

I knew Tim and Jody through my wife, all three worked for the same company. We meet them in person @ the Miami Boat Show about the time he got his Pantera. I donated a bunch of left over parts from several of my projects. I really liked his posts. RIP

Yep, he is certainly missed. I never did get to meet him in person, but we chatted on the phone and emailed/and on here a lot.

Kinda doesn't seem real. Three years.

That guy from Trailer Park Boys almost hit Tim's death date. Thought of Tim.

It’s been two years since we had the service for our boating buddy Ryan. Did it in Horton Bay with 19 boats rafted up. Sure glad we were able to make it happen. You could still do something, maybe find something to dedicate to his memory and have a service.
