Warpath!

For those of you who have historical video collections or photos and are thinking of transferring them to DVD's, you need to keep in mind that if you burn a DVD it may fail to provide you with a permanent archive or your video's or photo's. Please read the article in the attached link to see the experiences of music collectors who burned CD-R's in an attempt to archive old music tapes. http://www.enjoythemusic.com/magazine/bas/0709/
You might be better off making another copy of your VCR tapes instead as CD-rot will render your information unrecoverable.

This has to be one of the most educating threads on any given boat company that I have ever read all 90+pages (although Lucy's pics kept me clicking back).
The history, behind the scene stories and dedication to rebuilding these incredible pieces of machinery is truly amazing. KUDOS to all.

I do have a question, did I miss the section on Cold War that is listed in the OSO classifieds?
