The Bull,
Correct in my quickness to post, I meant to say Red Cloud and not Meanstreak was once lethal weapon??

i am unsure, the best person to ask may be a man named kurt at kurts competition marine center, i believe in north or central NJ...i think the boat has ties to that shop now. Also kurt i think raced a 41 that maybe was named apache bandit??? i am unsure of the details as in the late 80s i stayed away from 188th and ben k, and moved back to NY.

Wrapped the boat Saturday. It's official, an end to another great boating season in NJ!

I have a love/hate with this time of year.

We are hard core boaters. We boat through the week and weekends that it's not raining. We put 55+ hours on the boat this season, putting in the first weekend of June.

It's my time to stop, catch my breath, do stuff around the house that's been neglected for months, etc., but after a month or so I'm ready to boat again. By February I've had enough (which is why we generally head to Florida for 5 or 6 days). Not easy this time of year.

After a long season of boating I'm happy to put her away just to be done with it for a while...

It gives me time to get projects done around the house and on the boat... My wife and I like the seasons and the different things we do during the warm/cool/cold periods. We like both worlds.. I'm ok with putting her to bed for a few months!

But come Feb/March I'll be like this; :willy_nilly::willy_nilly:

I put in 1st week of April and do 55-60 hours each year; this year I did 5. No- I'm not leaving any numbers off that; as in five.

Crying as I put her away this year and hopefully will put 50+ on next year!

Last friday was my last run for this season. 86 hours from 5-5-09 through 11-6-09 on my old girl.

It is bitter sweet thing for me as well but once the bulldozer shows up this weekend to start my winter project I think the time will fly by and as a result of the project my days of having to winterize will be over:driving: Rather than Fort Apache I think I will name it "Fort For Apache."

Ok, lets see some key west pics..

Nice, those are some good hours man!!! I wish I did that much this year. I haven't looked at the gauge but I'd say I did 30-40 hrs from June 1st to Sept. (Memorial Day). Short season for me this year, shortest ever.... I usually do 60 hrs (May/October).

Good luck on the winter project, post some pics if you could!!!!!:driving:

Your season is longer than ours. I was disappointed not to see you in Cambridege. We loved it.

I'll have pics but it will be after Nov 20 before I post them. I leave from Key West for Puerto Rico for 4 days of business.

It would have been good "Spring Training" for Key West; unfortunately another joint I'm not going to.

When I have too much money I have no time, when I have no time I have too much money- need a balance.

Make sure you get some pics of you and some Apaches for this thread (and a time limit to post them in- sorry BBB made me say that)

Ops- meant when I'm broke I have all kinds of time, when I'm loaded I don't have any time to spend it.

My broke is not like living paycheck to paycheck but then again my loaded is not 47 Apache money either.

Ok- nuff about me; Apache threads are complicated enough (most of the time).

KW PICS PLEASE. 5 footers today I'm hearing- perfect for the tribe!
