VIDEO: Onboard AMSOIL #77 Port Huron 2012

Some nice corners there John. The 5:55 - 6:00 mark was pretty much the end of the race. Probably a good thing we couldn't hear the helmet mics....

Outstanding ! On full screen it feels like you are in the backseat......screaming !:sifone:

Yeah I tried to turn further inside to get out of it but couldnt... I think it went something like "F***!!!" about ten times. Everyone asks if I can patch in the helmet audio and I tell them I would rather leave it between the pilots in the cockpit you know?

It was sure good to see you out of the shop again and on the course, nice chatting also.

It's odd sometimes how what you expect to be the easier corner on the course ends up being the one that bites you. Looked like you had no where to go though. The exact same thing happened to Jim and I on the same corner with Bull on the Beach. We got hosed, and we were in an open boat that race.... That river water is a lot colder than it should be this time of year!!!!!

I used to try to get Jim and George to mic up and record in IMCO too. They said no way was what they said in the cockpit ready for anything like primetime!!!!!:cuss::eek:

I was really surprised at the 3:42 to about 3:59 mark how they were able to accelerate out front so fast while you were bumping the rev limiter lights. That appeared to be about 15 boat lengths in about 15 seconds.

Props? Or no comment I'll understand also as you get ready for Solomons......

By the way, in case you're wondering how it looked from the outside? Michael caught the action from the south turn boat....

Nice shot!:hurray:

Yep, it is. I'm hoping he got the same shot of us when Jim and I went through the corner and Bull on the Beach's roost did the exact same thing. Except we were in an open boat!

We were soaked and, as Jim says, it was "Refreshing".....

Hose down

NICE shot indeed. I just texted it to all the AMSOIL crew!

Thanks for posting. My hose job wasn't so refreshing, more frustrating....
