Reporting on these races has been tough. I would be remiss to not acknowledge the Talbot Excavating boat which did not participate on Sunday.

After the second race on Friday, S-29 Talbot Excavating and S-1 Peters and May were tied for 1st Place with each having a first and third place finish.

Due to the accident in Friday's third race, Talbot Excavating did not race on Sunday.

This is the best photo I have from Friday's race. I do not know what else to say.....

Going into the Sunday Races there were three boats racing with an opportunity to win it all.

S-1 Peters & May, with a 1st and a 3rd
S-31 Hulk, with a 2nd and a 4th
S-5 WHM, with a 2nd and a 4th

It was shaping up to be one heck of a run.

The water for the race was building throughout the event.

Pete Boden & Tammy, Bobcat, and Terri and I had chartered a boat from a friend of Bobcats to photograph the races from and hoped it was large enough to provide a fairly stable platform.

The boat was SEA-CLUSION, a 46 foot Bertram sportfisher.

We all shot from the bridge some, but as the waters built, Pete shot from below with his "Baby", and I tried to shoot from up above to stay out of his way.

Bobcat stayed up above quite a bit also.....

He's the one on the Port side for those of you who haven't met him yet....

Hulk was flying high trying to take the first place finish. He needed it to have a chance for the overall championship......

Hulk and Peters & May finishing rounding the turn 2 buoys.

We were anchored about 50 feet to the outside of the turn, just enough room for the turn boat andd Coast Guard to squeeze through between us and the course......

The Hulk was really airing it out on turn #2, and they were right there with Peter's & May when they lost a motor.
