Vick signs with the Eagles!

What Vick did was stupied and reprehensible. He has paid his prescibed debt to society. Let him play. He'll face negative press (some) and the activists at every away venue; his crime(s) will not be overlooked.

For the Eagles he wil be the target; distraction...it could work to deflect some presuure away from the rest of the team; most likely it will be a TO like distraction.

I know that the Eagles have had problems, and that Joe Walsh can't hit many notes anymore at all... but I still don't understand why Vick will be singing with them. :(

Anyone see him on 60 miinutes yesterday ? Sure sounded like he was well coached by his team of handlers. He played the poor me it was part of my culture growing up story.

If he's turned the page and makes a huge effort to reach the community and work against animal abuse. . . if he is going to make a positive impact, I say let him have the chance. There was a good comment recently which says if a person has no shot of redemtion after serving their prison time, why bother releasing them.

He's not poor. But it was part of his culture growing up.
Doesn't make it right. He overcame enough of that culture to be in the NFL... he should have overcome enough to make better decisions as an adult.

Yes he served time and deserves an opportunity to redeem himself, work, play football etc. but I doubt he understands how wrong he was and the reaction to any error in his future behavior.
