Value on an Advantage 28 Victory

Trying to work a trade on a new Formula.Having a problem figuring true value on his trade. 2006 Advantage 28' Victory bowrider,496 Mag HO,trailer,freshwater boat,supposed to be flawless. Low volume boats like this are hard to figure,supposedly sold new for 90K,but I can't verify that. Give me a range on value,I need to make this work without getting killed.

I couldn't begin to know what it's worth, especially today, but it cost at least 90 when new. Not many Advantages make it east. Very popular on West Coast and Havasu.

Yeah,I think they are a very respected brand out west,this one is in MN,appears to be very nice in the pics.Problem is not too many out my way have ever heard of an Advantage,so I have to be careful.

According to their website they have 5 dealers in the U.S., besides the factory location in Havasu. NV, IA, MN, TN, NY. That should explain any quantities not located on West Coast. I have a 10 year old Party Cat that I bought used from Pier 57 and it has gotten all the attention everywhere I've had it on the east coast, simply because no one has ever seen one. Even on all the boat trader websites, there are very few of any of the Advantage models available for sale, and when they are, the asking price is always substantially more than most other comparable brands in the particular size range that is advertised. Of course that's asking price that's advertised and not what they might actually sell for. I know I don't need to tell you that the standard amount of depreciation percentages per year that has always been used as a rule of thumb for valuations went in the toilet with everything else that has happened to our economy in the last 2 years, so I don't know how any dealer or trader can establish a fair value on anything, unless there is another dealer or trader standing by to buy it at a pre-established price.
