Value of a 2001 Duramax?

I had a friend ask me what they are going for, he can get a 2001 4X4 Ext cab, fully loaded duramax 175,000 miles for 7500.00 his buddy will sell it to him for the dealer trade price (7500.00)

I say that is a great deal, he wants to maybe keep it or flip it, I would think he cannot lose, supposed to be in great condition, well kept. no rust.

anyone know what going rate is? I searched but did not come up with anythying solid..

Cool, thanks, the truck is supposed to be VERY nice, so I assume if he buys it there should be room to make a couple dollars? I saw a few 2 wheel drives go for 9000 ish, I would think being Ohio the 4x4 will pull an extra grand or so..
