lol, I actually had a pair of carbon fiber ski poles get broke while they were still in the ski bag with my skis. Cant remember which airline it was and cant figure out for the life of me how they did it. Ski's were fine without a scratch on them but both my poles were sheared off just below the grip. Seeing as they were already junk i tried to break what was left and could not do it.
