here is all the info you need to get the attention of someone higher up. I have always just started calling some of the VPs a lot of time you get the secretary but if you are persistent they will usually put you in touch with a mid level manager.
Another option is sending a letter to the CEO and include a copy of this thread. On the letter to the CEO also CC and mail it to several other US Air VP's. Be sure to mail it in a hand addressed, hand stamped, manila envelope with your return address, make sure you write personal in large letters on the outside, this way no one will open but the person who the letter is addressed to, don't even write their title on the envelope. Type the letter on your company's letterhead explaining what happened, include how often you travel, and how many others of your company travel as well. Be sure to butter the CEO up by saying things like I am sure you are interested in having such poor customer brought to your attention because I know that is not the type of service you expect your people to provide. Then outline what you would think would be a fair compensation, do this and I bet you will get some type of result.
