Trailering in Winter

Hey fund, your idea was to fashion a cardboard protector plate...and you are making a joke about my idea:boxing_smiley::)
No... you just got me thinking with that 5 miles.

It was a revision of my suggestion. It may just stay clean if you go slow enough to have no spray.

It would be kph anyway. Let's call it 1.25kph. And we'll wear tukes.

Hey.... what about mudflaps on the truck? Really freaking big ones. That drag.
And meet in the middle.

Nah... slow walk with beer. That's the one.
Maybe a nice sandwich.

That's not a bad plan.
Set the cooler on the swim platform - or hell, it's winter, don't need a cooler.
Set the case of Elsinore up there, and you're good to go.

why walk when i can just sit on the swim platform?! maybe ill hop off every so often and see how the front looks!

i think we will prolly just soap it up before we leave the marina in buffalo, when we get to the cottage hose it off real well, try and make a shield or wrap of some sort for the last little bit and hope for the best?

is it actually worth it to spray the trailer down with wd40 before it sits all winter? maybe that will help fight any damage caused by the salt on the inside of the rims and trailer?

go get 2 5 gallon jugs to fill with water a gallon of salt away and a garden sprayer.

Billy from Performance Trailer wraps the new trailers he delivers in the winter with the clear plastic that is used for wraping/holding a load on pallets. Keeps trailer clean and keeps salt and pebbels from chipping paint.
