One of my outbuildings,40 by 100 with concrete floor thru out,new twin post hoist and old single post hoist. In this particular pic I paid the neighbor kid 40$ to go up and put the top section on my waste oil furnace stack pipe. I since have replaced the last overhead door to the far right in the pic. I also have a 36x60 building outback with concrete floor (you can just see the front of it in first pic) that I keep my snowmobiles,trams am,lawnmower,and other seasonal stuff in but it still has barn doors. I have a shop too on my property that's 18 x 32 thats heated and air conditioned where I do my transmission work/motor work (in pic behind my t/a).
I have a 4th building thats a small 24 x 30 barn with hip roof but it's in bad shape,it's where my wife keeps her stuff (junk):ack2:, when the economy pics up I'm going to knock it down and build a 3 car attached garage on the back of my house,Smitty

Now thats so Serious storage space ---Let us know how long it takes you till fill it up and can't even walk around inside !!!!

:eek::eek: $40 bucks wasn't enough...

I bought a 250,000 btu waste oil furnace about 6 years ago and the neccesary stove pipe to vent it thru the roof,I built a 550 gallon base tank with a platform 12 feet up the furnace sits on but the stuff layed around here for a couple years until I got ambitious enough to finally get it assembled and run the stove pipe (we ran out of storage for waste oil too and absolutely had to get it running to burn some of it). Anyways the first year I had it running I just ran the pipe thru the roof with no weather cap because it was impossible (in my opinion) to get up there 35 feet to put the last section on and the cap. I called 5 different customers I had done transmissions for that owned bucket trucks/high rangers and told then bring a truck over and run this pipe -I'll write you a check for whatever you have to have. Six months later I still hadn't gotten it done,one of my sons friends told me he worked on barn roofs all the time and he could EASILY do it for me:). I told him go ahead anytime your ready,I will compensate you fairly. 10 minutes later he shows up with a hay wagon,ladder,old trucks etc and was up there. It took him about 45 minutes,when he was done he told me he usually gets 10$ a hr to do similar work:rofl: and that he had about 1 hour in it,I gave him 100$ and he said it was too much,ended up getting him to accept 40$,I figured I'd have payed someone with a bucket ruck 200$ to 500$ to come out,was a serious bargain,Smitty

buildings are 3/4 full already after 11 years out here,I have just enough room to buy a bigger boat and thats about it,we partitioned off the middle of the barn to have a 40 x 50 work area that's heated though and we try not to store anything in that area other then tools/supply's,Smitty
