The really impressive part of that rig is the 4x4 with a dowel lathed into the end to go from the actual hitch to support the tailgate. Well, that, and the chain supports from the bedrails to the tailgate.
Those guys in Utah have the time to dream this sort of thing up.

Power brake it in reverse about 50 yards from the ramp, release brakes, and then stomp on the E-brake about 20 ft from the water.

Isn't that how everybody does it?:)

Saw this at the local Home Depot, nice way to carry lumber.

Didn´t they star in the 1972 movie Deliverance also ?
