Took the plunge!

....We'll have the official one in Maryland from August 20-24. That will give us enough time to do it right.

Or will you be married by then?

No not married by then.:dupe:
She has another year to get her master's. We are looking at Sept. of 2010.

Congrats....nothing better than having someone who share's your activities....my first mate and I are going on 29 years next week, she can handle the dock lines with the best of them....

when I lost a motor. We were at the half way point so we decided to idle down to A/C. We had 5 of us in the boat, no break down beer, 4-6 foot swells and no porta-potti!

I hope that you learned a lesson!! Never, ever go anywhere in the boat without beer! :cheers2: You don't have to drink it, but you never know when you'll need it!!!!

Congrats on the engagement!!!

CONGRATS!
I've found that it's not hard to find a girl that likes boats, but it's rare to find a woman who truly loves boating.

Really??? There are so many of us women in the group we hang with that really and I mean really love boating! It's all we do from mid-May through mid-October, then we attend boat shows, go to Florida so we can boat.

I can't imagine not boating with my husband.

Congrats Tom and Andrea !!! :cheers2:

I will be shooting my 1st traditional wedding this Saturday... :sifone:

A year and half away I may have a few more under my belt if you need a photographer..... :sifone:

Maybe I should have elaborated by saying it is rare to find a woman who has her chit together in every department and is missing the crazy gene in her DNA make-up. We're not talkin' pigs that love to boat either... a fine piece of azz that gets all the looks when she walks into a room & handles herself equally as well when among paupers and kings. :sifone:

As we all know, boating is a lifestyle and the fact that we share that common bond makes us the proud few. This sport is far more enjoyable when you have a loved one to share it with. Congrats to you, Tom A.!

My plan is to propose to my girl of 3.5 years on Saturday during our week long stay at the Ritz of Cancun. :sifone:

You hit that one on the head!
I am truly blessed.
One advantage our sport has for us Northerners is that the good boat shows over the winter are down in Fla.! It is a lot easier to say, "Honey, let's go to the Miami Boat Show for a long weekend!" when it is 80 degrees and sunny down there and 20 degrees and snowing up here!

Hey Jigsaw,
Congrats!
You have to come to the Captain's Inn Memorial Day weekend for a joint celebration!
