another paper cited a 20mm agreement IF the marriage lasts 10 years.....that seems more like what he would have signed 5 years ago. He didn't have 300mm to lose 5 years ago!
That same paper quoted a "stay together" package including a 7 figure check payable to Elin immediately with a new pre-nup with a much higher payout.
The worse part in this is she has become the most famous wife in the world with a cheating husband! She looks elegant and his women look like ho ho's. He made the wife look like a sucker in front of the whole world.....that must be hard to take as a person (male or female).
If Joe Nobody cheats then maybe a few dozen people know (friends, neighbors, co-workers) and the wife is pizzed but it is a much smaller scope of a problem. Tiger does it and it is headlines in every paper in the world with more women coming out of the "woodwork" daily (no pun intended). He graduated from Stanford, he should have been way smarter than this, 3 women plus a wife = recipe for disaster for sure!

I agree, but that's really not an issue for him even if he did have to pay that amount. He's not going to lose any meaningful sponsors over something so "small", in the eyes of the business world. Even if a big one decided to make the STUPID decision to drop him, 10 more are waiting in line to sign him. He'll be making tremendous money for the rest of his life.
I mean, he HAD to sign a pre-nup, and he knew it would be a sizeable amount should things go wrong. I know he has a lot of his money in that foundation, which she can't touch. He also has trusts set up to protect his interests as well. She'd get her check, and they'd go on. The child support payments would be kind of funny to see. :sifone:
I bet she stays with him in the long run. He's not a bad guy, and she knows that. Yes, he cheated on her, but compared to the list of things pro atheletes are tempted with on a daily basis, that's about as minor as it gets. Having the most attractive women alive at your disposal ANY time they want, would be a really hard thing to remain responsible around 100% of the time.

One thing that is not mentioned on here is THE KIDS. They will suffer the most and you can't put a price tag on that. I saw a past Masters Champion at lunch today and I asked him would Tiger's golf game slump due to maybe a mental breakdown. He said not a chance and he will only get better. We'll see.......
