Well I had to Poof 2 threads on here tonite and let me tell ya it sucks. But they were done after there was contact with the original poster's and it was explained why and they were given the choice to do it themselves before I did anything. I think if the OSO guys would aleast do that it would have helped but they just poof without any explaination al all. I think that is the root of there problem. I hate doing it.

A little communication goes a long way. I was asked very kindly by a founder to delete a thread on here a couple of weeks ago. I agreed with why it should be deleted and that was that. No biggie. And if anyone ever asked why it was deleted (which no one did) it would be a simple answer. No secrets and no agendas. You can only please some of the people some of the time and not everyone all of the time. But a little communication can ease that blow.

I find when deleting a thread a PM to the "offender" goes a long way, and prevents the "why did ya poof that" thread from following.. After the first time, I send a tad sharper PM, third time all bets are off
