Here are a few updated pics. Just finally got one in the boat to stay. I'll bet I put it and out 10 times. If I could make it that far in real life, I'd be good.
Had a bunch of interference with everything. When I moved one thing, something else would hit. The engines sit very low in the boat. It actually doesn't need the scoops. How cool is that to have a 39' V with over 1200 hp a side and have it all under the hatch. If there were somewhere else to get enough air to the engines, we would probably lose the scoops and put a nice big sunpad on it. Anyway, these pics were taken a few days ago before all of the rigging was complete. I have a few more pics to add when I get time. Hope ya'll enjoy. Thanks, Eddie.

We are not sure. It supposedly ran 138 with Mec. 1075. I'm not sure how it's going to handle the power. The engines made just over 1200 hp but have the ability to make over 1400 with a pulley change. At 1200 it should run over 150 mph. The only other 399 that was built with some big power would get on the nose at 125 and was unsafe. I don't know if this one will do it to. Being that it ran 138, it hopefully will be ok.

The one boat I know of that attempted to use SS hose for fuel lines also had a problem with the lines weeping fumes. Not good!!! The nylon braided hose looks t!ts.

And the worst part is it took 2 years to figure out, and once we finally fixed it the boat sold!:ack2:

These ones Eddie is using are way nicer. Now we just need to get Jassby to rig a new boat.:03:
