They are leaving!!!!

I am trying to look at the positive side of things for 2010.

So in that spirit... I really admire Jay's ability to be a complete pr*ck, and insult people using derogatory names, slurs and innuendos without crossing so far over the line that he gets banned. It's a skill. :) :cheers2:

Its because we all know Jay and the fact that he is a real good guy.

That is why I wont comment on what Jay wrote, I do not have the typing skills to not cross the line in what I write back, so its just better to be quiet.:sifone:, Plus everyone is entitled to there own opinion, it is still a free country. for now:sifone:

????????????????????????????????????????????????????

As usual the media is breathlessly overhyping this chit. Sure, it's newsworthy stuff, but if you look a little closer you would see that more rethugs than dems are retiring. (oh noes!!!)

North Dakota is probably a loss, but Dodd's stepping down means that what would have been virtually certain gop win will now remain in dem control. (the contender is polling 30 points ahead of his repub challenger)

Instead of getting so happy you should take a hard look at what is happening to your own party. Nothing like a little infighting to make things interesting. Party of no alright- no cohesion, no plan and no money.

Plenty of teabags, tho. :seeya:

Was it the rethugs or the teabags???

Wow, all that cold weather has your panties all frozen into uptight little wads.

Or does the truth hurt your widdle feelings?

Yeah, right. Your typing skills? Are you serious? :icon_bs:

You start a damn political thread with a link post and follow it with a half dozen more posts linking to mostly right-leaning articles that don't tell the whole story, while you gleefully predict the total demise of the dems... and you were expecting what?

Typing lessons?

Your 'no comment' comment is a complete cop-out. Here's a name for ya- wuss.

I predict that if more looters were shot and killed during the act, eventually there would be less liberals. :)

Not a Wuss, just not into keyboard fighting!! kinda makes you look like a child yelling at someone on the internet. I have my views, and so do you, you really dont know me so I would please ask to stop the name calling.

Ok, aside from 'wuss', where, exactly, did I call you any names? You posted some 'facts' and when I responded with 'facts' you raise the 'not worthy of comment' white flag. Seems kinda wussy to me.

I guess you just want responses that agree with your point of view.

Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

You quoted him and then used the term "wingnuttia" and then told him to stick his head in the sand.
:)

But since you haven't met him yet, you don't know that he knows that you are more docile in real life than your pvssy cat. And that in real life, you know your place and don't disrespect men that can cause you serious discomfort. :)

Have a nice day!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Jay...

have you ever had to meet, or justify, a payroll for other than yourself?

I have to make a payroll every week, I am a small business owner and see what is going on with this administration!! sorry about the cut and paste Jay, but I just want our country back on the right path!!

No it is fine to have your own point of view! no problem there, just dont want a keyboard war with you or anyone.

you are a giant fat guy, aren't you. yeah i wouldn't want to fight you either.

on the thread topic. i dont want taxes to be raised as much as they are, i knew it was coming, but this is excessive. the health care bill is ridiculous, forcing people who get up every morning and go to work to afford the stuff they like to pay for some slob who cant/wont work. i am all for helping people when they're in need, but the people that never ever try to help themselves are the ones who just need to die. thats what would happen if the gov't cut them off, they would start stealing just to get into prison or they would die.

You need more exclamation points, otherwise we won't think you are sufficiently excited about the angle a writer takes on a story, regardless of the facts.

Instead of riding the shift+1 key so much, I suggest you spend some time and get below the superficial surface presented by the MSM.

Here's a good story about the current financial state of the RNCC. Not good in an election year.

Here's another thing to consider re the $$$. A percentage of donations in the coming months is heading for teabagger central, NOT to the RNCC. Think about that.

if you are saying that the dems are getting more $ you are right, but think about this... its not coming from the poor trodden masses, or the small business self made guys, so who is it coming from? unions, special interests, hollywood types, lawyers, and the mega rich thats my opinion. so called socialism only helps those who are already rich and powerfull, they will remain so and the rest of us will have no way to better ourselves. big business, big money and big goverment are all after the same thing imho. that is control pure and simple. control of those who do by those who do not. i think the republican party is in trouble because their main backers, small business, are not doing well these days and dont have money to give, and are seriously ****ed about the state of things and wont give any more money to politicains of any kind. this is just my opinion anyway. i am tired of all washington politics, they ALL need to go imho, and be replaced with real people who live in the real world

Yes.

Honestly, I am more interested in debate than a keyboard war as well. But you should realize that the tone and manner of your posts came across as a bit over the top. (insert exclamation points here :) ) look at this! dems are in trouble! look at this, and this, and this!

get my drift?

I was pushing back against you with some relevant info- specifically, more repubs retiring than dems, which sorta shoots a hole in the premise of this thread. Because of the way you phrased it, I used what I felt was an appropriate response. (not everyone thinks like me... I don't care- it's a political thread :willy_nilly:)

So, back to a point I was trying to make earlier-

do you feel like the teabagger movement will hurt the gop's chances in the mid-term elections?

i'll bite... I feel if it gains more momentum, and it WILL as soon as this health care true cost surfaces, then BOTH sides are vulnerable, and justifiably so. I am all for this tea-bagger movement, and I make no bones about stating so, here, or anywhere.. since stepping up to an Independent status over a year ago, I can very clearly see a better picture of where we need to be, and i'm satisfied I made a perfect decision after the last 38 years of being a registered voter...

on another note Jay, I can 100% assure you, if you had a small business payroll to meet right now, you would be pounding different key's and tones on your keyboard these days..

Agree 100%, and yes I am for the tea-party movement!! That is how our county was founded. The goverment is to be for the people, not for themselve's. We need less goverment, and more brakes for small business owners, we are the only engine our economy has right now, without us there is nothing!!! Nobody wants health care reform right now! it is the last thing we need to add to our debt! But there is a larger plan with the Obama administration, they do not care about the people, just who paid to get them elected!

Off topic... no I am not actually fat, just giant... and no you don't want to fight me.
So agreed. But drinks... drinks would be great.

On topic. Agreed.

Rock on.

Some good would come of your decision to actually debate rather than retort. It would be interesting to see what you bring when McBush, Teabagger, Wingnuttia, McSame, and the like were removed from your vernacular. And when Randy Andy Sullivan stays home.

For those of you following along at home: Jay and I have a certain love/ worship relationship and Bill once sold me an Apache. So... there. :)
