I am going to post for you southerners some of why I hate Michigan weather Pictures

First one is our house from across the the way this morning
Second is my sons house
Third is outside temp acourding to my car display

Dog we rescued today stuck out on the lake Her tail was froze to one side and paws covered in ice

I was next to a marina so i brought her into the heated storage and called the police they said the owner had called in and was looking for his dog for hours

His owner told me she had been missing for 6 hours in the below zero weather

aren't those the dogs that are suppesed to save YOU when you stuck in the snow?? ad isn't there supposed to be a little barrel of rum attached to it's collar??

that's so nice that you found the dog. A friend told me that they let their smaller dog out and in 5 min when they went back to get the dog it was standing there and could hardly move, the dog got so cold so quickly, they were amazed how quickly the temp. affected their dog.

Most of my family is in Columbia South Carolina (Parents sister,brother) then i have a sister in Atlanta and Brother in Florida (works for NASA) so i think the Carolinas would be best bust when my wife gets her Masters done will go where she wants as i can move my business anywhere

We have made it 24 hr. without it snowing,I think that is a first since November.It must be to cold to snow!Awesome!

You know it's cold when the rescue dog needs rescuing. It was 60 degrees here in Houston today. Thanks for the pix, keep reminding me why we left the balmy northern climates.

yea the owner called a bit ago and said the dog was not in best of health to start with

told me they were worrid sick

They gave the dog some meds and she is resting ok now dog was pretty slugish when we got to her

Just glad all is ok
