You think the war in Iraq is costing us too much? Read this:

Boy, am I confused. I have been hammered with the propaganda that it is the
Iraq war and the war on terror that is bankrupting us. I now find that to be
RIDICULOUS.

I hope the following 14 reasons are forwarded over and over again until they
are read so many times that the reader gets sick of reading them. I have

1. $11 Billion to $22 billion is spent on welfare to illegal aliens

It is worse than that, 1st hand experience, not internet information. As many know I was a FireFighter when I lived in so. cal. My fire district was ended along 20 miles of the US Mexican border. I can not fully explain the shear volume of illegals comming across. The border patrol has a trick, they call for fire/ems EVERY time an illegal scrapes their knee, gets dehydrated etc. we have to respond, the illegal has to be transported to the hospital. What the border patrol does not to is place the illegal in custody as this would require an officer to accompany them to the hospital and more importantly, would require the BP to pay the bill. As a direct result the fire dept and the hospital EAT the bill. But wait, like a bad infomercial THERE'S MORE. The illegals know this. they get to the hospital and walk out to their waiting ride after recieving free medical care. The cost of these services are so great, the fire dept. I used to work for went under because it could not survive the financial strain. Now an entire community is without fire/ems service, relying on the county to provide and the closest county fire station is 17 milesaway.

The best thing that happened aroung here is the construction trade going in the toilet.Downtown Bonita Springs was like a little Mexican city before the boom and turned into a small country during it with all the illegals.
They all fled now that work has dryed up.

Working in the healthcare field I can say that illegals are the biggest drain on a hospits/fire/EMS there is. There is way too many of them and none of them pay their bills.

not only to mention the hospitals but the u.s courts, loved waiting the couple times i've been for prolly 75% of the people in there being illegals that can't speak english, dont show or do and of them that do show all getting court appointed lawyers that we all pay for with our tax dollars, also not mentioned all the damn accidents they cause n don't have a drivers license nor insurance, i'm sick of seein mexican flags as well if they love the damn country so much stay in it!!!!

Wow, those stats are staggering, and I had seen them before but it still drops your jaw.

And to think of the resistance by the taxpayers (many on this board) to a LOAN of $14 B to keep going the biggest (only) mfg industry in this country, a loan that is 1/4 as costly at minimum of failure. All because it's "their" tax money, ha. I guess they voted for every single thing "their" taxes do.
