No, I didt make a mistake when drilling and cutting yet......

I only ask because I'm doing about the same thing to my Baja, and I was going to add some ribs and bulkheads but not sure if I should double up the coring in the sides to help distribute the load over a wider area from the bulkhead hard point. Measuring where my bilge pump fitting was I have 3/8" sides and the bottom is 5/8".


And if you are still glassing/grinding a good place to buy cheap suits is Magid glove www.magidglove.com. I've tried a couple different ones and the CVZ3's are a pretty good as far as durability and price. I usually get them 25 at a time and order XXXL's so they don't rip out when I'm contorted all over the place and I can tuck the legs into my shoes to keep my ankles itch-free.

I just went out to have a look at it 2day all the cockpit is painted they hope to paint the deck tomorrow I'm going to post some pics up as soon as they have some paint on the deck
