So let me get this straight....a hot chick comes into racing, and you guys don't want to watch.

Hell, 90% of the field shows up and gets paid to drive in circles. Like everybody is saying, this crap is getting boring. Did you expect her to jump in the car and start setting track records or something? Other than she's a woman, and a pretty one at that, she's a rookie like everybody else at some point. And if she gets more hot chicks to watch, then all the better at the bar. :sifone:

I really can't wait to see her get into a Sprint car and start having better finishes than someone like Robbie Gordon. Out of the 50 or so cars that show up most of the time, at least 30 are nothing more than moving chicanes.

I don't mind looking. I just don't want to listen to the BS. Maybe when she accomplishes something like finishing a race and finishing near the front instead of pulling up the rear she will deserve some recognition she gets. Its a race...not a beauty contest.

I agree with you. Danica isn't my favorite driver or anything, but she's a pretty good driver overall, at least good enough to be out there compared to some others. She'll just never be good enough to live up to the hype she creates. Like you said, there are a lot of guys out there just taking up room. Danica at minimum makes money for everyone involved with her, and increases viewership for the sport, so I think she "earns her keep". I don't understand how guys like Robbie Gordon continue to have a ride.

I think Jr obviously has the same problem. 48 sure doesn't help his cause with running SO well the last few years, showing that it can be done. Jr would have to have a few seasons like Jimmy, to live up to half of his expectations. I'm not sure why he hasn't been running good since making the switch in teams.

I think Jr will be back and he is showing it now. His biggest problem IMHO is he has no verbal skills to comunicate to the Crew Chief on how the car is reacting to anything and that maybe he is being taught that now. If you watch the 48 crew they know what each other is takling about, they speak the same language, Jr can't do that, he can drive but he hasn't got the mechanical skills. Plus I think he has a hard time listening to anyone about anything but things are changing for the better, maybe Rick took him out to the tool shed and gave him a lesson:smash:
I also agree on Robbie Gordon, how in hell does he get sponcership money from anyone?
