The caution will allow teams to check tire wear and adjust their cars as heavy rains washed out practice Saturday and also washed the existing tire rubber off the track.
Teams cannot fuel the car until the competition caution.

ill be able to say i learned something new today. do they do this everytime theres a lot of rain on saturday??

Practice was rained out so the teams don't know how their tire wear will be. So NASCAR decided to throw the competition caution so all the teams can check their tires.

TV guys said they tuned the carbs to ack like a Jake Brake

If they figured out how to do that, they will really save their brakes.

So they are basically loading the motor with fuel, bad on mileage if that becomes an issue
