This thread wouldn't be complete without looking back to the Grandaddy of all Top Guns.

This is the very first 37.6 Cigarette ever made. AJAC HAWK

It was taken out of the 39 X 8 foot mold by blocking it off to a length of 37.6....and that was it's official first name.....37.6

The boat was first shown to the public in December 1978. Exactly 30 years ago this month, in Mar del Plata Argentina. Owner / Driver Jerry Jacoby and Throttleman, Bobby Saccenti.

However, it took more than a year, until June of 1980 @ Bahamas 200, for this boat with this design to win the first race for any Top Gun anywhere in the world..

Didn't that green one end up flipped in Florida? Not trying to start rumors but I know a green cig ended up flipped and the hatch ripped off.
