The morning after, now what?

Indictment: Russians also tried to help Bernie Sanders, Jill Stein presidential campaigns

WASHINGTON – It turns out Donald Trump wasn’t the only candidate the Russians allegedly tried to help during the 2016 presidential campaign.

A 37-page indictment resulting from special counsel Robert Mueller’s investigation shows that Russian nationals and businesses also worked to boost the campaigns of Vermont Sen. Bernie Sanders and Green party nominee Jill Stein in an effort to damage Democrat Hillary Clinton.

Interesting after all that Bernie crap that he was helped more than Trump according to the indictments.......

The indictment of 13 Russian nationals and three entities released Friday found that they were working behind the scenes on behalf of Mr. Sanders during the Democratic presidential primary and Ms. Stein, the Green Party’s candidate for president.

“By 2016, Defendants and their co-conspirators used their fictitious online personas to interfere with the 2016 U.S. presidential election,” said the 37-page indictment from special counsel Robert Mueller.

“They engaged in operations primarily intended to communicate derogatory information about Hillary Clinton, to denigrate other candidates such as Ted Cruz and Marco Rubio, and to support Bernie Sanders and then-candidate Donald Trump,” said the document.

Days before the November 2016 election, a Russian-run Instagram account called “Blacktivist” posted the message, “Choose peace and vote for Jill Stein. Trust me, it’s not a wasted vote,” according to the indictment.

All the lefties are mouthing off about McCabe getting fired, poor guy. All he did was lie to Congress and give secret information to the press.

He should be thankful he's not in jail. Cause that's where I hope he ends up.......

Judicial Watch President Tom Fitton made the following statement regarding the Department of Justice Inspector General’s report released today regarding fired FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe:

Attorney General Jeff Sessions was wholly justified in firing former FBI Deputy Director Andrew McCabe. The IG report released today portrays McCabe as a serial liar.

When regular people lie to the FBI, they get slapped with felony charges.

Judicial Watch uncovered documents months ago that should have triggered Mr. McCabe’s removal. Americans should expect a full investigation of the numerous anti-Trump and other outrageous FBI abuses under Obama and McCabe’s mentor, James Comey.

The IG report also presents additional evidence that the Obama DOJ sought to shut down FBI investigation of Clinton Foundation. This is yet one more reason to either reopen or reinvigorate the Clinton Foundation pay-to-play probes.

And, once again, the IG report shows the FBI has been covering up Andrew McCabe text messages. The messages should have been turned over in Judicial Watch FOIA litigation but we haven’t received one McCabe text message. The FBI corruption and cover-up didn’t end, unfortunately, with James Comey’s well deserved firing.

Judicial Watch uncovered that McCabe, despite massive contributions from Clinton ally Terence McAuliffe to his wife’s 2015 political campaign, did not recuse himself from the Clinton email investigation until just a week before the 2016 presidential election. Judicial Watch also forced out documents that show that McCabe used FBI resources for his wife’s campaign.

Taking a page from its response to the Watergatebreak-in, the Democratic National Committee filed suit on Friday against President Donald Trump’s campaign, the Russian government and WikiLeaks for allegedly engaging in a conspiracy to damage the Democratic Party during the 2016 presidential race.

There’s just one huge problem. Did the Democrats just shoot themselves in the foot?

From Conservative Tribune:

Naturally, a civil lawsuit would involve sworn depositions, and since Brazile herself has labeled Clinton’s campaign as being the real power behind the DNC at the time of the hacking, the former candidate for the presidency might become a prime candidate for close questioning.

And this time, the questions wouldn’t be softballs lobbed by FBI agents giving Clinton the kid-glove treatment because they thought she would win the White House.

And it isn’t just Hillary that could be on the spot.

As Simone points out, former DNC Chairwoman Debbie Wasserman Schultz could be questioned too. Maybe the congresswoman from Florida could shed some Sunshine State light on just how she let a major American political party get taken over by hacks in the Clinton campaign — as well as the hackers who spilled its secrets to WikiLeaks.

And then there’s the grand-daddy deposition of them all. Former President Barack Obama was the de facto head of the Democrat Party during eight years in the White House. Trump campaign lawyers — and the American public — could finally get a chance to know what the former president knew and when he knew it when it came to Russia’s alleged “tampering” in the 2016 election.

One of the main Trump liars.......

Eric T. Schneiderman, the New York State attorney general who rose to prominence as an antagonist of the Trump administration, abruptly resigned on Monday night hours after The New Yorker reported that four women had accused him of physically assaulting them.

Two of the women who spoke to the magazine, Michelle Manning Barish and Tanya Selvaratnam, said they had been choked and hit repeatedly by Mr. Schneiderman. Both said they had sought medical treatment. Another woman, a lawyer, said she was slapped violently across the face. A fourth woman said she had similar experiences.

All the women in the article, who had been romantically involved with Mr. Schneiderman, said the violence was not consensual.
